I had a great experience at this clinic! I came in for a Pico Laser treatment and a treatment to remove my freckles, and I also got Botox in two areas of my face. They gave me a discount, which was a really nice bonus. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. One of the things I appreciated the most is that everyone speaks English, including the doctors, so I was able to fully understand the consultation, the treatments, and the recommendations without any language barrier. I highly recommend this clinic, especially for foreigners who don’t speak Korean but still want to have a treatment where they can communicate comfortably and understand everything clearly. I felt very well taken care of throughout the whole experience. I would definitely come back! ❤️
a month agoRejuran vs Juvelook: How to Choose
Published:
Rejuran and Juvelook are two of the most talked-about skin boosters in Korea, and their marketing often overlaps enough to make them sound interchangeable. They are not. This guide explains how each one works, how the sessions feel, how fast results appear, and how long they last, so you can weigh them with your doctor before booking at Dami Skin Clinic in Yeouido, Seoul.
The core difference is what each one is made of
The single choice that shapes everything else is the active ingredient. Rejuran is built on PN (polynucleotide), purified from salmon or trout DNA, and it works by supporting the skin's own repair and hydration signaling in the dermis rather than adding structure. Juvelook takes a different route: it pairs non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid with PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) microparticles. The hyaluronic acid gives immediate hydration, while the PDLLA acts as a temporary scaffold that gradually prompts your own fibroblasts to build collagen over time. PDLLA belongs to the same biodegradable polymer family used in dissolvable sutures and thread lifts.
Put simply, Rejuran leans toward regeneration and skin quality, while Juvelook leans toward slow, structural collagen stimulation.

How fast they work and how long they last
The two behave differently on a timeline. Rejuran's effects — hydration, tissue repair, and a general glow — tend to appear relatively quickly, but they need more frequent upkeep to maintain. Juvelook works the other way around: its PDLLA component is absorbed by the body gradually over roughly one to two years, so its firming and collagen-building effect develops over months and tends to hold longer between sessions. Neither is an overnight result, and both build over time rather than after a single visit.
Which concern each one tends to suit
Neither product is categorically better; they are reached for in different situations. Rejuran is often the first choice for overall regeneration, fine lines, acne scars, and the under-eye area through a dedicated formulation. Juvelook is more often chosen for pore size, atrophic (depressed) scarring, and redness that has not responded well to laser. The right fit depends on what your skin needs now, which is exactly what a consultation is meant to sort out.
| Consideration | Rejuran (PN) | Juvelook (PDLLA + HA) |
|---|---|---|
| Main action | Repair, hydration, skin quality | Gradual collagen stimulation, firming |
| Onset | Relatively fast, needs more upkeep | Builds over months, holds longer |
| Often chosen for | Fine lines, acne scars, under-eye, overall regeneration | Pores, atrophic scars, laser-resistant redness |
| Typical protocol | About 3 to 4 sessions, 2 to 4 weeks apart | Roughly 1 to 3 sessions, about a month apart |
What the sessions feel like
Comfort differs between the two. The base Rejuran Healer formulation does not include a built-in anesthetic, so it is often described as the more uncomfortable of the two; a separate version adds lidocaine to ease this. Juvelook's hyaluronic acid component tends to soften injection discomfort. Both can leave temporary raised bumps, sometimes called embossing, and mild bruising, which generally settle within a few days. Your doctor can talk through numbing options and what to expect during recovery.
How many sessions you can expect
Because the two work differently, their schedules differ too. Rejuran is usually given as about three to four sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. Juvelook is often fewer sessions, roughly one to three, spaced about a month apart, because its slow-release action keeps working between visits. The exact plan depends on your skin and your doctor's assessment.

Dami Skin Clinic in Yeouido offers both Rejuran and Juvelook within its skin-booster line, and treats them as suited to different needs rather than ranking one above the other. FAQ
Q. Is Rejuran or Juvelook better?+
A. Neither is better in general terms. Rejuran is usually reached for regeneration, hydration, and skin quality, while Juvelook is chosen more for gradual collagen stimulation, firming, pores, and certain scars. The right one depends on your skin, which a consultation is meant to determine.
Q. Which one lasts longer?+
A. Juvelook's PDLLA component is absorbed gradually over about one to two years, so its collagen effect tends to hold longer between sessions. Rejuran works faster but generally needs more frequent upkeep.
Q. Which treatment is more uncomfortable?+
A. The base Rejuran formulation has no built-in anesthetic and is often described as the more uncomfortable of the two, though a version with lidocaine is available. Juvelook's hyaluronic acid tends to soften injection discomfort. Both can cause temporary bumps and mild bruising that settle within days.
Q. How many sessions will I need?+
A. Rejuran is typically about three to four sessions two to four weeks apart, and Juvelook is often one to three sessions about a month apart. Your exact plan is decided with your doctor based on your skin.
Q. Can I have both treatments?+
A. In some cases repair and structural collagen stimulation are both useful, so they may be considered together. Whether that suits you is a decision for your treating physician during a consultation.

What Our Customers Say
The staff via whatsapp was friendly and responsive to accommodate last min change request to my appointment. The place was clean and comfortable and the lady doctor was helpful to suggest what’s good for me based on my needs. I find the procedures reasonably priced as there were some promotional offers. I managed to get there by 5.30pm for a last consultation and finished my treatments by 7:30pm (clinic closes at 7pm) yet besides the lady doctor who performed the procedures, the lady assistant who helped to clean and prep my face and the male interpreter who stayed with her to explain in English to me step by step what she’s doing— were patient and thorough, I didn’t feel rushed at all. I feel very pampered. I’ll certainly come back again the next time I’m in Seoul!
4 months agoWhile getting ready for my wedding, I started looking into different skin treatments and ended up getting a skin booster injection along with Pico toning. My skin is naturally very thin and sensitive, so I was worried because it tends to react easily if a treatment doesn't suit me. But they carefully checked my skin condition first during the consultation, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. There was a little redness on the day of the treatment, but once I put on makeup the next day, it was barely noticeable. I was especially happy during my wedding photoshoot because my makeup went on so well My skin just looked healthy and fresh without needing heavy coverage!
5 months agoLove this Clinic! My husband got lifting and his skin looks amazing now, plus they have some snaks and English translator for your consultation 🫶🏻.
11 months agoI recently visited Dami Clinic and had a really great experience! The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, which made me feel very comfortable from the beginning. The doctor was not only kind but also very professional, explaining everything clearly and carefully. I especially enjoyed my Sylfirm X treatment, which helps with redness and pores. The whole process was smooth. I would definitely recommend Dami Clinic to anyone looking for professional skin care with a warm and friendly atmosphere! 🌸
